Mediumistic Group Readings

THE PURPOSE OF A GROUP MEDIUMISTIC READING
During a mediumship reading, Mel will connect with loved ones who are connected to attendees in the group, who have passed away and are on the “other side.” Through the practice of Evidential Mediumship, Mel will identify the spirits and provide details about their lives and connection in order to validate their presence. She will also deliver a message from Spirit. Evidential Mediumship is practiced for the purpose of providing healing (from grief for example), closure, clarity, awareness of human interconnectedness, and bonding within a group, etc.

GROUP READING GUIDELINES
Logistics
It’s important that I’m aware of all attendees and that cameras remain on for the entire session. Please eat and use the bathroom prior to the group reading.
You will NOT be guaranteed a reading within the group setting. However, I'm confident with the messages that come through that the session can still be powerful for all and I always trust spirit to have a greater perspective about who comes through and what messages they share.
Recording the session is only done by me. I record to review my reading and learn where I can improve. In addition, I do edit parts of readings to use for my YouTube channel. If the reading, or parts of it are incredibly moving and powerful and may offer healing to many others, I will ask permission from the person being read during that part of the group reading to put an edited version on my channel. I will always ask permission in my post session forms from the person who receives the reading. Others who want more privacy should not have their first or last name on their zoom account before the reading begins.
I send out post reading forms for feedback and testimonials that would be used on my website only if approved by attendees.
How mediumship works
As a medium I’m receiving spiritual impressions which are quick flashes of information one after another. I’m hearing, seeing, feeling, sensing, knowing, tasting, and smelling these spiritual impressions, subjectively. In other words, I’m receiving them through thought. The best way to describe it is as if I’m paying attention to a daydream. Mediums have to interpret the spiritual impressions they receive so there can be inaccuracies, but I'm sharing what is coming through to the best of my ability.
I’m a storyteller, but YOU, the attendees, have the context, and the power of this work being EVIDENTIAL and able to be validated is such an important part of the healing.
What YOU can do to have a great experience
Show up in a quiet space with NO DISTRACTIONS OR BACKGROUND NOISE!
Understand that no directives, diagnosis, or advice will be given.
I don't take questions during readings, but there will be time for discussion after the reading.
It can be emotional during and after, it's almost always helpful to plan to talk with a friend after to process.
Stay Open! (I don’t control who comes through, spirits have needs too and I let Spirit control the lineup.)
Harmony! There should be harmony amongst the attendees and in our group for the reading and I reserve the right to remove anyone from our zoom room who does not cooperate with all guidelines.
Yes/No/Not Sure (Don’t feed the medium!)
If more than one of you understands the information, I’ll sort it out and manage it, just stick to Yes/No/Not Sure for all responses.
Keep yourself muted except when talking.
If talking make sure your sound is on!
